Academic Services

Our academic programs are designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. We offer Advanced Placement (AP) courses, Career Education, and Early College Credit opportunities. Our Career Education program includes College and Career Pathways, Endorsements, and Dual Credit options. Additionally, we provide resources for students to explore their interests through Job Shadowing, Apprenticeships, and Internships.

Curriculum and Instruction

Our curriculum is carefully planned to ensure students receive a well-rounded education. We offer a variety of subjects, including Math, Writing, Science, and Social Science. Our Instruction Department Chairs work closely with teachers to ensure curriculum maps and course syllabi align with our mission. We also provide additional support through Math and Writing Centers, and Instructional Coaching Pathways.

Libraries and Resources

Our libraries are hubs of learning, offering a vast collection of books, digital resources, and databases. Students can access these resources through our online platforms, including OverDrive for ebooks and audiobooks, Flipster for digital magazines, and Comics Plus for graphic novels. We also have specialized centers for Art, Music, and Technology.

Community Engagement

At Leyden, we believe in engaging with our community. We host events like Ask the Expert Days, Future Focus Events, and Career Fairs to provide opportunities for students to explore their interests and career paths. Our libraries also offer book clubs and author visits to foster a love of reading.

Student Support
