At Zynodoa, we are dedicated to connecting farm to table, supporting Virginia's independent farmers and producers. Our mission is to use only the finest, freshest ingredients, primarily sourced from the Shenandoah Valley and Piedmont regions, with seafood coming from the Chesapeake Bay. We believe in honoring the food and labor of our farm partners.

Located in a historic building in downtown Staunton, Virginia, Zynodoa offers inspired southern cuisine in a stylish, metropolitan setting. We are proud to be just steps away from the nationally-acclaimed Blackfriars Theater at the American Shakespeare Center, making us a perfect destination for pre-theater dining.

Our team is passionate about providing exceptional service and culinary experiences. Our General Manager, Jessica Goode, brings extensive hospitality experience from Marriott International, while our Executive Chef, Matt Hull, crafts menus that feature the extraordinary ingredients of the Shenandoah Valley. Our Beverage Manager, Macon Gurley, creates innovative cocktails and wine pairings using fresh and seasonal ingredients.

Meet The Team

Jessica Goode, General Manager, brings a wealth of experience in hospitality from Marriott International. Matt Hull, Executive Chef, is a lifelong resident of Virginia with a passion for local ingredients. Macon Gurley, Beverage Manager, has a background in bartending and creative cocktail-making. Each member of our team is dedicated to providing exceptional service and culinary experiences.
