Our History
Hallie Turner Private School was founded in 1935 by Mrs. Hallie A. Turner, who began by giving private lessons in her home to help students who had fallen behind. Her philosophy was simple yet powerful: "Each student is an individual and should be treated as such." She believed in teaching students not only the subject matter but also how to study the subject matter themselves. Over the years, Mrs. Turner's approach has been refined and expanded, but her core philosophy remains the same. Today, we continue to build on her legacy, providing a supportive and engaging environment that allows students to thrive.
