Dinu Mistry, MD

At our plastic surgery practice, we are committed to providing personalized and high-quality care to our patients. Our team is led by Dr. Dinu Mistry, a Board Certified Plastic Surgeon with extensive training and experience in both cosmetic and reconstructive surgery. Dr. Mistry is a Fulbright Scholar who received her medical degree from Washington University in St. Louis and pursued General and Plastic Surgery training at the University of Texas Health Science Center in Houston. She furthered her training with a fellowship in cancer reconstruction at the MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston.

Choosing a Qualified Surgeon

When choosing a plastic surgeon, it is important to choose a qualified and experienced surgeon who is specifically trained in plastic surgery. Dr. Mistry is Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery, which is the only board approved by the American Board of Medical Specialties to certify medical doctors in the specialty of plastic surgery of the face and body. To become Board Certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgeons, a medical doctor must graduate from an accredited medical school, complete three years or more of General Surgery residency training, complete two years of Plastic Surgery residency training, complete comprehensive written and oral examinations, recertify by written exam every 10 years, and hold a valid medical license in the state where they practice.
