Rhinelander's Northwood Golf Club

Northwood Golf Club is a beautiful 18-hole municipal golf course located in Rhinelander, Wisconsin, operated for the people of Rhinelander and Oneida County. Our course was designed by Minneapolis-based golf architect Don Herfort, who used the natural topography to produce a course that feels very much like a journey through the ancient rocks and rolling hills that are typical of the Northwoods. Our course is in great condition every day of the season, and is both fantastically beautiful and fun!

About Our Course

Our course is a gem in the heart of Rhinelander, with 18 holes that wind through the natural beauty of the Northwoods. We have a full clubhouse with a restaurant and bar, and we operate a busy summer schedule of public programming, including weekday and weekend golf leagues, junior events and teaching, and golf social events for friends and family. Our course is designed to challenge golfers of all skill levels, with strategically placed bunkers, water hazards, and undulating greens.
