Our Mission

West Alabama Mental Health Center (WAMHC) is a regional mental health center serving Choctaw, Greene, Hale, Marengo, and Sumter counties in Alabama. We believe in accessible and equitable mental healthcare for all, regardless of background, income, or ability to pay. Our mission is to provide effective and efficient mental health services to individuals meeting eligibility requirements based on ability to pay.
