Pinewood Kennels

We own and operate Pinewood Kennels, located on 41 acres in beautiful Queen Annes County, Maryland. Our facility is conveniently situated within 35 minutes of Dover, Smyrna, and Middletown, Delaware, as well as Chestertown and Easton, Maryland. We provide climatecontrolled indoor lodging with private outdoor elimination areas for each guest. Our kennels feature Fromm dog food as the inhouse diet, continuous music, and comfortable raised Kuranda beds. Freshwater is refreshed daily and as needed, and an onsite property resident oversees the property. Dogs enjoy multiple sessions each day in our fencedin play area, with optional walks or extra playtime available for $8 per hour. Medications are administered for $2 and up per day, and we require proof of current Bordetella and rabies vaccinations administered at least two weeks prior to stay.

Cats are accommodated at $28 per day and have full run of two cubes. For an additional $10 per day we can engage your dog in ball play or guided walks across our 41acre farm. While we are not professional groomers, we offer bathing and nail trimming services, with bath fees ranging from $25 to $45 based on coat size and thickness. With over 15 years of experience in competitive obedience and agility, and more than 20 years of operating a wellrespected, clean kennel, we strive to provide the same high level of care and comfort we would want for our own pets.
