Our journey began over three decades ago, when our founder, Dave Lee, returned to Hawaii after working in the mainland United States. With a passion for footwear, Dave's experience in the industry spanned from selling shoes as a part-time sales associate for Nordstrom to managing the shoe department and being a buyer for Liberty House. His extensive knowledge and extensive travel as a territory manager with Reebok, Rockport, Bally, Candies, and Skechers laid the foundation for Work Shoe Hawaii.

Our Story

Dave Lee's journey in the footwear industry began when he sold shoes as a part-time sales associate for Nordstrom while attending the University of Washington. Upon graduating, he returned to Hawaii and worked as a flight attendant before gravitating back into the footwear industry. Liberty House hired him, and he worked in the shoe department as a salesperson, manager, and buyer. He eventually moved to the wholesale side of the business, specializing in Reebok, Rockport, Bally, Candies, and Skechers.

With over two decades of experience in the footwear industry, Dave's passion for providing quality products and exceptional customer service led him to open Work Shoe Hawaii.
