What Does Pyrenees Mean?
The Pyrenees is a range of mountains between France and Spain, dividing the Iberian Peninsula from the rest of continental Europe. It stretches for about 491km (305mi) from the Bay of Biscay in the Atlantic Ocean to the Mediterranean Sea. The name Pyrenees was chosen to honor the native province of the owners who purchased the bakery in 1944.
