Mona Rose Winery

Mona Rose Winery, named after the founder's wife, Monica Rose, was established in 2013 in Green Bay, Wisconsin. We are proud to be one of Wisconsin's premier wineries, producing internationally award-winning wines that are loved and cherished locally. Our specialty lies in small-batch, hand-crafted wines, following a minimalist approach to wine-making, reminiscent of the European style. We limit the use of sulfates and other additives, ensuring that the natural flavors of the grapes are preserved.

Our fermentation room is located on-site, open for public viewing, allowing you to witness the first step in the creation of our exceptional wines. The grapes used for our wine-making come from the San Joaquin River Valley in central California, specifically from Lodi, Woodbridge, Merced, Modesto, Solano, and Visalia. These vineyards are located in one of the largest grape-growing areas in California, covering over 151,000 acres of grapevines and including many AVAs (American Viticultural Areas).

Mona Rose Winery is situated in a residential area, near a popular bike and walking trail, making it an ideal location for a cozy and inviting tasting room. The tasting room features a hand-crafted pallet bar and intimate seating area, offering a warm ambiance for visitors. You can enjoy our wines with a selection of specialty cheeses, fine chocolates, local micro-brews, and more. Guests are welcome to sample our wines before purchasing by the glass or bottle. Additionally, we offer private tastings and parties in our Barrel Room at Mona Rose Winery or your location of choice, by appointment.

Our Wines

Our winery offers an extensive collection of over 27 varietal wines, with 19 wines having won international medals. Our popular wines include Peach on a Beach, Big Red and Super Tuscan blends, Malbec, Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo, Muscat, Riesling, Chardonnay, and many more. We are dedicated to providing an ever-growing selection of wines, catering to a diverse range of palates.

The Wine Club

Joining the Mona Rose Winery Wine Club offers several exclusive benefits, including receiving/purchasing three bottles of new release or pre-selected wines per quarter. Members enjoy extra bottles at a 15% discount during pick-up, one complimentary four-sample wine tasting with each visit, and two free wine tastings per visit without tasting glasses. Members also receive 15% off all case purchases, a 25% discount on the barrel room rental fee, and complimentary attendance to two annual barrel tastings. Membership includes an invitation to one New Release party per year, with winemaker-signed bottles at the release parties, and access to special events throughout the year.

Our business hours are Wednesday 5:30-8:30 pm, Thursday - Friday from 4 pm - 7 pm, Saturday from 12 pm - 6 pm, and Sunday from 12 pm - 5 pm.
