ORO Manufacturing Company, an ISO/AS certified business, has been providing top-notch metal fabrication services since its inception as a tool and die shop in the mid-1940s. As a third-generation family-owned business, we have emerged as one of the most respected manufacturing facilities in our area, offering nearly 200 configurations of high-density, lightweight seating for aircraft. We supply seats to the largest users in the free world, including the United States Department of Defense, Sikorsky Aircraft, Boeing Helicopters, Bell Helicopter/Textron, and Lockheed Martin. We offer both CNC and conventional fabrication areas, enabling us to manufacture complex and intricate parts with the utmost precision. Our CNC forming service provides an efficient, automated method of manufacture, allowing us to give multiple forms to a flat blank. With our state-of-the-art laser cutters, we can accurately cut even the most intricate patterns efficiently and cleanly.

In addition to our advanced manufacturing capabilities, ORO Manufacturing Company specializes in the fabrication of aircraft seats and spare parts. We are one of the oldest and largest troop seat manufacturers in the United States, with nearly 200 configurations of aircraft seats for a wide variety of aircraft. Our expertise in ergonomic design, lightweight materials, and crashworthiness ensures that we can provide the best possible seating solutions for our clients. We build seats for fixed-wing and rotary-wing aircraft, including configurations for one-man, two-man, three-man, four-man, and five-man seating arrangements, as well as variable width, free-standing, and bench-style seats.

Our Equipment

At ORO Manufacturing Company, we invest in the latest technology to provide high-quality products efficiently. Our extensive equipment includes CAD/CAM drafting software, laser cutting machines, shears, brakes, tube benders, punch presses, and welding machines, ensuring that we have the right tools for any job. Our CAD/CAM system is equipped with the latest revisions of Draft Sight and Solidworks, while our laser cutting machine, the ML3015EX, offers 2700 watts of power and a cutting area of 60" x 120" with a pallet changer. We use a 12' LVD shear with a mild steel capacity of 1/4" and a Chicago 10' shear with a capacity of 90 tons. Our hybrid Bystronic PR8-150 press brake offers a bending length of 10' and a 165-ton capacity. Our list of machine tools include miller Welders, lathes, drill presses, and more, providing a diverse and comprehensive set of capabilities.
