At Music Studio of Marin, we believe that music is a universal language that transcends cultural boundaries and age groups. Since 1976, we have been dedicated to providing quality piano lessons to students of all ages and skill levels. Our mission is to foster a love for music in our students, helping them develop their talents and express themselves through this beautiful art form.

Our Owner and Instructor: Christina Bradley

Our studio is owned and operated by Christina Bradley, a seasoned pianist and teacher with over 40 years of experience. Christina is certified in Yamaha, Pace, and Musikgarten methods and has a deep understanding of various teaching styles. She has been an active member of the Music Teachers' Association of California (MTAC) for many years, serving on the Board of Directors of the Marin branch and chairing the MTAC Marin Branch Scholarship Committee.

Throughout her career, Christina has taught numerous students who have gone on to win awards in local and state competitions, both in performance and composition. She has also performed regularly as a solo pianist and in a duo piano partnership with Lorraine Taber. Her performances have included appearances in the College of Marin Summer Opera Workshop, the Winifred Baker Chorale, and the College of Marin Community Chorus, as well as accompanying for voice classes and recitals.

Services Offered

At Music Studio of Marin, we offer a variety of services designed to meet the unique needs and goals of each student. Whether you are a beginner looking to learn the basics of piano or an experienced musician seeking to improve your skills, we have something for everyone.

• Private Piano Instruction: We offer private piano lessons for students of all ages and skill levels. Our lessons are tailored to each student's needs and can focus on various styles, including classical, jazz, and pop. We also offer instruction in improvisation and composition for those interested in creating their own music.

• In-Person and Online Instruction: We understand that not everyone can make it to our studio in person. That's why we now offer both in-person and online instruction, making it easier than ever to learn piano from the comfort of your own home.

• 30, 45, and 60-Minute Lessons: We offer lessons in various lengths to accommodate different schedules and learning styles. Whether you prefer a shorter, more focused session or a longer, more in-depth lesson, we have an option that's right for you.

• Special Events and Activities: Throughout the year, we host various events and activities designed to bring our students together and provide additional learning opportunities. These may include recitals, workshops, and masterclasses, among others.

Upcoming Events and Important Dates

At Music Studio of Marin, we believe in providing a supportive and engaging learning environment that extends beyond the regular lesson. That's why we offer a variety of special events and activities throughout the year. Some of our upcoming events include:

• Halloween Recital: Join us on Friday, October 27th, at 5:00 PM for our annual Halloween Recital. This fun event is a great opportunity for our students to showcase their talents and enjoy some spooky fun with their fellow musicians.

• Winter Break: Our studio will be closed from Thursday, December 21st, to Thursday, January 4th, for Winter Break. We encourage all of our students to continue practicing during this time and look forward to seeing them when we return.

• Spring Break: We will be closed from Monday, April 8th, to Sunday, April 14th, for Spring Break. Take this time to relax, recharge, and perhaps work on some new pieces or techniques.

• Memorial Day: Our studio will be closed on Saturday, May 25th, to Monday, May 27th, in observance of Memorial Day. We hope you enjoy this long weekend and take some time to appreciate the sacrifices made by those who have served our country.

• Last Day of Regular Lessons: Our last day of regular lessons for the 2023-24 school year will be Thursday, June 13th. We encourage all of our students to schedule any remaining make-ups during the week of June 17th to June 20th.

• Summer Session: Our summer session will begin on Thursday, June 27th, and will run through Tuesday, July 2nd, with a break for the MTAC Convention. We look forward to continuing our musical journey with you during the summer months.
