Recycling Center, Inc. is a leading scrap commodities processor based in Richmond, Indiana. Established in 1974 by Jack and Debra Edelman, the company has grown rapidly over the years and now operates from a state-of-the-art facility that spans over thirty acres. Our location provides easy access to Interstate 70 and Interstate 75 in Ohio, and our on-site railroad service complements our efficient trucking fleet.

Our facility is equipped with the latest processing equipment, including hydraulic shears and balers, which enable our personnel to grade, sort, and prepare scrap metal, paper, and other recyclable commodities. We also have highly efficient hydraulic cranes and other material handling equipment, which allow us to supply processed scrap commodities to mills, foundries, smelting facilities, paper mills, and plastics consumers. Our scales are equipped with radiation detection units for mill and environmental compliance, and our oil-water separation system and sealed containers help us reclaim cutting oils for recycling, ensuring environmental compliance.

We offer a wide variety of sizes of open-top containers to fit the needs of large corporations and individual residential customers. Our roll-off containers are available in the following sizes:

In addition to our roll-off containers, we offer front-load container service. Recycling Center, Inc. is equipped with all types of trailers, including van, flatbed, drop-deck, and steel-reinforced gondola trailers.
