Learn The Game. Play The Game. Love The Game

The Al Morrison Memorial Baseball League is a non-profit, volunteer based organization that has been serving the Dixon community since 1967. Our mission is to provide a safe and enjoyable environment for children to learn and play the game of baseball, while also teaching them important life skills such as teamwork, sportsmanship, and responsibility. We welcome boys and girls aged 4 to 14 to participate in our five leagues, which include T-Ball, Coach Pitch, Future, Bronco, and Koufax.

Our Facility

The Al Morrison Baseball Complex is located in Page Park along the Rock River on the northwest side of Dixon. This state-of-the-art facility houses five baseball fields, including one with lights for night games, remote scoreboards, and an in-ground sprinkler system. The complex is maintained and improved solely through the efforts of our volunteers and the support of our community.

Our complex also features three batting cages, where players can hone their skills and prepare for games. Our Concession Stand is open during both the Summer and Fall baseball seasons, serving a variety of food, drinks, candies, and merchandise. All those working inside the Concession Stand are volunteers of our organization, and 100% of the profits are put back into the league to benefit our players.

In addition to the baseball fields and Concession Stand, the Al Morrison Baseball Complex also features a playground for young children to enjoy while their older siblings are playing. This playground is a popular destination for families and adds to the welcoming and community-oriented atmosphere of our complex.

Our Services

The Al Morrison Memorial Baseball League offers a wide range of services to our players and their families. Our leagues are designed to be inclusive and accessible to all, with age-appropriate divisions and a focus on skill development and fun. Our volunteer coaches and assistants are dedicated to providing a positive and supportive experience for all players.

In addition to our league play, we also offer a variety of other services and programs. Our annual Al Morrison Yearly Schedule outlines all of the games, practices, and events for the Summer and Fall seasons, helping families plan and prepare for the baseball season. Our General Rules provide a clear and consistent framework for play, ensuring that all players are treated fairly and can enjoy the game.

We also offer Fundraising opportunities for our players and their families, providing a way to support the league and contribute to its ongoing success. Our dedicated Board Members work tirelessly behind the scenes to ensure that the league runs smoothly and that all players have the best possible experience.

At Al Morrison Memorial Baseball, we are committed to providing a top-quality baseball experience for all of our players. From our welcoming facility to our inclusive leagues and dedicated volunteers, we are proud to be a part of the Dixon community and to serve the young athletes of our area.
