Welcome to The Ancient Arts Massage School and Clinic, located in Richland, Washington. Our massage school has been serving the Tri-Cities and surrounding areas since 1995. Our mission is to educate students to become highly qualified and effective massage practitioners who can make a positive impact in their clients' lives.
Our Educational Programs
Our educational programs are designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to succeed in the field of massage therapy. Our 750-hour program consists of a comprehensive curriculum that covers kinesiology, anatomy, physiology, pathology, business, and massage theory and practice. Our students learn a variety of massage techniques and modalities, as well as personal communication skills, ethics, and the law pertaining to massage.
Our Massage Program
Our professional massage program is designed to provide students with the knowledge, skills, and techniques necessary to succeed as a massage therapist. Our program consists of 750 hours of instruction and includes the following subjects:
- Kinesiology, Anatomy & Physiology (170 hours)
- Pathology (80 hours)
- Business (100 hours)
- Massage Theory and Massage Practice (400 hours)
Our students also participate in student clinic, working with the public to hone their massage skills. Additionally, our students learn necessary business skills, such as scheduling, medical billing, and cash flow. These skills are essential for building a successful massage practice.
Curriculum and Continuing Education
At AAMS, we understand the importance of continuing education and staying current with the latest techniques and advances in the field of massage therapy. Our curriculum is designed to challenge students and prepare them for the Board Certification Exam. Our focus is on providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary to succeed in the field of massage therapy.

Tuition and Fees
Our tuition and fees are designed to provide students with a comprehensive education at an affordable price. Our 2023 tuition is $9,000, with an application fee of $100. We also estimate that students will need to budget an additional $250 for books and materials.
