Our Story

Serving the Fredericksburg - New Hampton area since 2012, we have expanded our small animal clinic and now offer wellness plans, laser therapy, and new boarding facilities. From emergency medical services to grooming, we have you covered.

Our Team

Our team features a great range of talented professionals. We love what we do and it shows! Dr. Karla Juhl, DVM, is the owner and operator of the clinic. She grew up on a farm near Sumner, Iowa, and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. Dr. Kristen Cuperus, DVM, has been with our clinic since June of 2019. Nichole Wurzer, CVT, has been with our clinic since 2012, and Stacy Lemke, Professional Pet Stylist, has been with us since 2014. Shayla Kuennen, RVT, joined our team in May 2021, and Jayden Usher, RVT, graduated from the NICC Veterinary Technician program in 2022 and joined our clinic in November of the same year. Brighton Morris, Receptionist, graduated from Iowa State University in December of 2022 with an Animal Science Degree.

Our Services

We offer a wide range of services including veterinary services, grooming, pet accessories, and boarding. Our new facilities offer a comfortable home-away-from-home boarding experience. We also have a vet on call 24/7 for emergency medical services.
