Who We Are

SEC, Inc. was formed in 1979 originally under the corporate name Logan Hickerson and Associates. Shortly thereafter, it was merged with Hickerson's brother's architectural firm and renamed Burkhalter-Hickerson. In 1987 Mr. Hickerson along with partners Steve Harrison and Ken Hayes separated from the architectural firm and became Hickerson, Harrison and Hays but were soon purchased by Smith, Seckman and Reid out of Nashville. In 1993 the firm was separated and renamed SEC, Inc. as it remains today under the leadership of Jamie Reed - CEO/President, Matt Taylor - Vice President, Dave Parker - Vice President, Mark Lee and Rob Molchan as partners.

We offer our clients a relaxed but professional environment in which our staff of 7 Licensed Professional Engineers and 3 EIT's, 5 Registered Licensed Surveyors, 14 Survey Crew members, 9 CAD Draftsmen, 1 Landscape Architect, 2 Landscape Architect Intern and 2 Clerical personnel can purposely assist them with their Professional Service needs.
