Our History

Mark Kano, the founder of our agency, was raised in Roy, Utah, and has been a resident of Davis County since 1977. He attended Weber State University, where he received a B.S. in Business Administration, and later earned his MBA from the University of Phoenix. Mark opened his first State Farm agency in Layton in 1988 and worked as a State Farm agency manager for five years before returning to agency in his current office in Bountiful in 1996.
