He is a lifelong resident of Amarillo, Texas, and is committed to serving the local community. Michael is a graduate of West Texas A&M University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing. He is also a member of the Alpha Tau Omega fraternity, Texas Zeta Kappa B.O.T., and has served in the U.S. Army Reserve.
