Our Story

I had always dreamed of opening a dog grooming business, but until a year ago, I never thought I would live to see the day. Complications with an outpatient surgery left me with a 25 percent chance to live. Instead of accepting defeat, I took those odds and assessed my life. I decided that I was going back to school because I've always wanted to open a dog grooming business. Taking my unique measure of success, I left the ICU ordeal behind me and set my sights on my education. To acquire certification for grooming and hygiene, I took a momentary stay in California, a necessary first step toward my goal. "Dogs are the best therapy, " and I'm grateful to be living my dream.
