McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home is a family-owned and operated business with a rich history dating back to 1820. The Sparrell Funeral Home in Cohasset and Norwell has been serving the South Shore community for over 200 years. In 1983, Bob McNamara, the son of the founder, acquired the Sparrell Funeral Home and merged it with his own business, creating the McNamara-Sparrell Funeral Home. Today, the funeral home is still family-owned and operated, with Brendan M. McNamara actively managing both locations.
