Janis Lowe, owner and founder of J. Lowe Realtors, is a native of Friendswood who has called the area home since 1951. With a strong background in education and a passion for real estate, Janis has been serving the community since 2006. Unprofessional Behavior and Poor Communication
Janis Lowe, a real estate agent, has been accused of unprofessional behavior and poor communication by several clients. Christina Marie and Justin Wallace both gave her a 1-star rating and shared their negative experiences with her.
Lack of Disclosure
Christina Marie's experience was marked by a lack of disclosure. She states that she and her family put in a contract on a home at 1805 La Salle St, only to discover that two teens had been shot in the kitchen in December 2023. The agent, Janis Lowe, failed to disclose this information and even attempted to convince the Marie family to keep the contract.
Unprofessionalism
Justin Wallace's experience was plagued by unprofessional behavior from Janis Lowe. He shares that she was snarky and demanding during negotiations, and failed to provide a detailed list of requested repairs. She also attempted to dangle the offer over their heads, implying that they should just agree and give in to the seller's demands.
Negligence
Additionally, Janis Lowe was accused of negligence by Justin Wallace's family. During a home measurement session, she adjusted the thermostat to 70 degrees, which drove up the power bill for an empty house. She failed to apologize for her actions and did not return the thermostat to its original setting.
Relationship-Building Suffered
