Our specialty is Aromatic Eastern Red Cedar, but we also offer Oak, Southern Yellow Pine, and a variety of other wood species. We cater to a wide range of customers, from DIY enthusiasts to contractors and builders, providing quality products paired with personal one-of-a-kind service that you cannot get at retail lumber stores.

Our custom cut wood products include Cedar mantles, tabletops, and beams, as well as Oak and Pine custom cut lumber. We also offer domestic and international exporting services for Pine. Our laser engraving shop provides a unique and personalized touch to our products.

Meet the Family
Our family is dedicated to providing the best possible service to our customers. John Volkmann Sr. is a retired homebuilder from Northern Wisconsin who started White Valley Lumber Mill with his wife, Renee Volkmann. Renee is the top salesperson for the mill and is also a talented artist who can carve animals with her chainsaw, hand carves custom mantels and doors, and paint signs and landscapes. Jordan Volkmann, John's youngest son, helps his dad run the lumber mill crew and manages the shop. Alexa Volkmann, Jordan's wife, works in the office and wears many hats at White Valley Lumber Mill.
