Welcome. Observe. Reflect. Teach. Heal.

At Growth Therapy, we understand that every child is unique and that their behaviors can be a reflection of their individual strengths and challenges. Our mission is to provide a safe and nurturing environment where children and their families can grow, heal, and thrive. As a licensed clinical social worker and registered play therapist-supervisor, I, Leigh Ellen, have dedicated my career to helping children and families overcome a wide range of challenges, from anxiety and family changes to trauma and challenging behaviors.

Our Services

Our therapy services are designed to cater to the individual needs of each child and family. We offer individual counseling for children and teens as young as 2 years old, as well as family counseling for parents and children. We also offer online parenting support and consultations for parents who are concerned about their child's behavior.

Play Therapy

Play therapy is an essential aspect of our services. It is a form of child-centered therapy that uses play to help children express themselves and work through their emotions. Through play therapy, children can learn healthy ways to cope with their feelings and develop important social and emotional skills.

Why Choose Us?

At Growth Therapy, we believe that therapy should be fun and engaging. We understand that children are naturally curious and active, and we believe that play is an essential part of the learning process. Our play therapy services are designed to cater to the unique needs of each child, using a wide range of activities and modalities to help them heal and grow.

About Our Therapist

As a licensed clinical social worker and registered play therapist-supervisor, I have over 15 years of experience working with children and families. I have extensive training in the areas of play therapy, child development, and child sexual abuse, and I have worked with hundreds of families to understand their children's behaviors. I am also a certified trainer and supervisor for other therapists who are interested in becoming registered play therapists.

Our Approach

At Growth Therapy, we believe that therapy should be a collaborative process between therapist and client. We believe that parents are the experts about their child's strengths and challenges, and we work closely with them to develop a treatment plan that meets their unique needs. We also believe that therapy should be fun and engaging, and we use a wide range of activities and modalities to help children learn and grow.
