Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital is proud to serve Fairfield, OH and surrounding areas. We are dedicated to providing the highest level of veterinary medicine along with friendly, compassionate service. We believe in treating every patient as if they were our own pet, and giving them the same loving attention and care. Our team consists of highly trained, experienced animal lovers who are devoted to giving our patients the best care possible.

Our Team

Our personnel strive to maintain the highest of standards of our profession. We have approximately 20 employees including three Veterinarians, three Registered Veterinary Technicians and a staff of well-trained Receptionists and animal handlers, all dedicated to providing quality, compassionate care for you and your pets. In addition, all doctors and employees receive continuing education to keep current with all of the advancements in veterinary medicine.

Dr. Steven Sawdai

Dr. Sawdai graduated from The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. He grew up in Forest Park and started working at Mt Pleasant Animal Hospital while in middle school. He met Wendy, his future wife, who was also working at Mt Pleasant and attending Ohio State. Dr. Sawdai and Dr. Wendy married while in Veterinary School. Thirty years later they have a daughter, Lizzie, who is in medical school and engaged to be married.
