Albany Youth Soccer

Albany Youth Soccer (AYS) is a recreational soccer program designed for children aged 4.5 to 9 years old. Our mission is to provide a fun and safe environment where kids can build skills and play soccer with their peers. We focus on age-appropriate small-sided games to ensure every child has an enjoyable experience.

Services Offered

Our program is open to all children in the community, regardless of their soccer experience. We welcome children from all backgrounds to join our co-ed teams. Our teams are divided into age groups: U6, U8, and U10, each catering to specific age ranges. This allows us to tailor our coaching and gameplay to meet the developmental needs of each age group.

Partnerships and Community Involvement

AYS is committed to giving back to the community. We participate in programs like Cleats for Kenya, donating used cleats to promote youth soccer in Africa. We also sponsor local organizations and events, such as the Falcon 5K, Founders Day, and the Winter Guard Home show. Additionally, we offer scholarships annually to former AYS Senior soccer players and graduating referees who have served AYS for at least three years.

Game Schedules and Locations

Our games are held at the Albany High School soccer fields on the corner of North Main Avenue & Chestnut Street. The parking lot behind the school is available for parking. We have a rotating schedule for the fields to ensure every team gets a fair share of home games. You can find the detailed schedule for Spring 2024 on our website.
