Our Story

Our journey began in 1991 when our founder, Tom Schaffer, decided to start an independent aquatics consulting firm in the Twin Cities, Minnesota. His vision was to provide pool owners and operators with an unbiased source of information and design resources, keeping their best interests in mind. Over the years, we've worked on over 2,000 aquatic projects worldwide, with a total value of $850 million.

In 2004, Tom decided to relocate our company to Delano, Minnesota, a small town that better aligned with our green philosophy. This move not only allowed us to thrive but also gave us the opportunity to live and work in an environment that inspires our commitment to sustainability.

Our Team

At USAquatics, we believe in the power of teamwork and collaboration. Our team consists of experienced professionals who are passionate about what they do. Our team includes Certified Pool Operators and Aquatic Facility Operators, as well as instructors for both courses. This allows us to provide comprehensive training for our clients' staff, ensuring that their facilities are operated safely and efficiently.

Our Projects

We've had the privilege of working on a variety of projects over the years, including water parks, hotels, resorts, competition and fitness facilities, health and therapy centers, and municipal, recreational, and private projects. Each project presents a unique challenge and opportunity for us to showcase our skills and creativity.

Some of our notable projects include the Grand Re-Opening of the Como Park Pool and Water Park, which was recognized as the greenest aquatic project in the US. We've also worked with the City of New Prague to create a state-of-the-art aquatic center that meets the needs of the local community.
