Our Story

DMG was established after the sudden withdrawal of the seller of a well-established mechanical contracting firm in Dallas. Despite the initial setback, our founders, John and Joe Smith, were undeterred and decided to launch DMG as a start-up. Over the years, we have grown into one of the largest and most respected HVAC companies in Texas, serving a diverse range of industries. In 2021, DMG was acquired by EMCOR Group, Inc., a Fortune 500 leader in mechanical and electrical construction, industrial and energy infrastructure, and building services.
