Our Story

Fisherman's Cafe Key West is more than just a restaurant; it's a celebration of the rich history and authentic flavors of the island. For nearly two decades during the early 1970s, the original Fisherman's Cafe stood as a gathering place for locals, fishermen, and anyone seeking a taste of genuine Key West charm. Located in the heart of Old Town, at the historic Henry Flagler railroad station on Caroline Street, it became a beloved landmark where stories were shared, friendships were formed, and the community spirit flourished. Mr. Vega, the owner, knew his regulars by name, often anticipating their orders before they even arrived.

Today, we proudly carry the torch of that legacy at our new location in Key West's Historic Seaport. We strive to recreate the warm, inviting atmosphere of the original Fisherman's Cafe, where time seems to slow down and the focus shifts to enjoying good food, good company, and the simple pleasure of being part of something special.
