Muskingum County Driving School has been serving the local community with top-notch driving instruction for over four decades. Established in 1970, our mission has always been to provide quality service at a reasonable price. Our highly skilled instructional staff boasts many years of experience and has taught numerous families and individuals in the area how to drive. Our Services

As one of the leading driving schools in Ohio, we offer a wide range of services to cater to the needs of our diverse clientele. These include:

• Driving Instruction

Our experienced and certified instructors provide comprehensive driving instruction to teens and adults alike. Our program is designed to ensure that our students become safe, confident, and responsible drivers.

• Juvenile Remedial Classes

We offer remedial classes for juvenile offenders who have had their driving privileges suspended. Our program focuses on providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become responsible drivers and avoid future violations.

• Adult Remedial Classes

Our adult remedial classes cater to adults who have had their driving privileges suspended or revoked. We help them understand the reasons for their suspension, and provide them with the necessary skills and knowledge to become safe and responsible drivers.

Convenient Locations

Our driving school is conveniently located on Brandywine Blvd, just off of Maple Ave, making it easily accessible for students from all over the area. We have two locations, one in Zanesville and one in Newark, to serve our students better.

Teen Driver Ed

We offer both in-person and at-home teen driver ed programs. Our in-person program consists of classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training. Our at-home program includes online classroom instruction, as well as behind-the-wheel training. We ensure that all our students receive the necessary skills and knowledge to become safe and confident drivers.

Adult Driver Ed

Our adult driver ed program caters to individuals who are 18 years and above. Our program includes classroom instruction and behind-the-wheel training. We help our students understand the rules of the road, proper driving techniques, and traffic laws, ultimately making them responsible and safe drivers.

Remedial Courses

We offer remedial courses for drivers who have had their driving privileges suspended. Our program focuses on providing students with the necessary skills and knowledge to become responsible drivers, understand the reasons for their suspension, and avoid future violations.

Our Commitment to Safety

The safety of our students is our top priority. We have implemented thorough cleaning and mask protocols to ensure that our students and staff stay safe during the COVID-19 pandemic. We also offer 24-hour traditional classes, online classes, and virtual classroom options for students who prefer a socially distant learning environment. Our in-car lessons may be delayed due to the impact of COVID-19, but we are taking all necessary precautions to ensure that our students and staff stay safe during in-car lessons.

Our History

Muskingum County Driving School was established in 1970 by Richard Ross. Our school has a rich history of providing quality driving instruction to thousands of students in the area. We have entered into contractual agreements with several Boards of Education and provided Driver Education for 19 high schools in a 4 county area. We have moved locations several times, but our commitment to providing quality service at a reasonable price has remained constant.
