Our Mission

Miller County Care and Rehabilitation Center is a not-for-profit facility owned and operated by the Miller County Nursing Home District. This dedicated Board of Directors, comprised of six community members, prioritizes providing exceptional, professional healthcare in a warm and nurturing environment within the beautiful Ozark countryside. Our mission is driven by a commitment to excellence in quality care for each patient and resident, ensuring they feel safe, respected, and deeply cared for.

Services Tailored to Individual Needs

At Miller County Care, we understand that each individual's healthcare needs are unique. We offer a comprehensive range of services to meet those diverse requirements. Our skilled nursing unit provides personalized care for those needing assistance with daily living activities, medication management, and specialized treatments. We are proud to have both inpatient and outpatient therapy services available, allowing our patients to regain strength, independence, and mobility with the guidance of dedicated therapists.

Recognizing the growing need for specialized dementia care, we opened our Alzheimer's & Dementia Special Care Unit in 2013. This unit is designed to provide a secure and stimulating environment for individuals living with these challenging conditions. Our compassionate and trained staff create a program that encourages cognitive function, promotes emotional well-being, and ensures the safety and dignity of each resident.

In addition to these core services, we offer hospice care to provide supportive and compassionate end-of-life services for individuals and their loved ones.

Under the guidance of Dr. Gary Baskett, our Medical Director, and Administrator Tiffany Showers, LNHA, we work collaboratively to ensure our residents receive comprehensive and coordinated care tailored to their individual needs.
