Welcome to the World Lee Koon Hung Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu Association, a prestigious martial arts organization dedicated to preserving and promoting the traditional Chinese martial art of Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu. Our association, founded by the legendary Grandmaster Lee Koon Hung in 1968, has grown into a global network of schools spanning across major continents. With over 15,000 members worldwide, we are proud to continue the teachings of Grandmaster Lee Koon Hung and his instructors.
Our Founder - Grandmaster Lee Koon Hung (1942 - 1996)
Grandmaster Lee Koon Hung was a prominent authority in Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu and Fu style Tai Chi. Beginning his training at the young age of 12, he studied under five distinguished Choy Lay Fut Masters: Yun Yim Cho, Poon Sing, Chow Bing, Leung Sai, and So Kam Fook. He was later honored to train under the legendary Grandmaster Shek Kin, instructor of Bruce Lee. A full-contact fighting champion, forms, and weapons master, Grandmaster Lee Koon Hung's teachings have been passed down through generations of students, many of whom are recognized fighting champions.
The Art of Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu
Choy Lay Fut Kung Fu is a southern Chinese martial arts style that combines elements of Choy Gar, Fut Gar, and Lau Gar systems. Known for its long-range hand techniques, Choy Lay Fut is an effective martial art for self-defense, particularly in real-life situations involving multiple opponents. The style's speed, agile footwork, and a wide range of weapons also make it a popular choice for MMA tournaments.
