Our Beginnings and Values

Northeast Nebraska Federal Credit Union's roots extend back to 1962 when it was chartered as Madison County Government Employees Federal Credit Union to serve government employees in Madison County. Over the years, we expanded our membership eligibility to include state employees, county employees, city employees, and others residing in the five-county area surrounding Norfolk, Nebraska. Today, we proudly serve over 18,000 members.

Our core values of service, community, and financial wellness guide everything we do. As a "not for profit" financial institution, we prioritize reinvesting profits back into the credit union to benefit our members.
