Barry's Boxing

Barry's Boxing was founded in 1977 by Pat and Dawn Barry to provide youth in Las Vegas with a structured environment for physical and moral development through boxing. As a non-profit organization affiliated with USA Boxing, we emphasize safety, discipline, and excellence in and out of the ring. Our mission stems from decades of combined experience in law enforcement and boxing, with Dawn Barry pioneering as one of the first female professional boxing managers. Our facility supports over 400 registered members annually, offering programs for ages 5-34, including conditioning classes, private lessons, and competitive training. We maintain rigorous standards through certified coaches, adherence to USA Boxing regulations, and a focus on creating a safe space during critical out-of-school hours.

Our team includes Olympic-level trainers like Augie Sanchez, Nevada's most decorated amateur boxer, ensuring elite-level instruction. We operate transparently, relying on donations and membership fees to sustain operations while maintaining full compliance with insurance and safety protocols. Our commitment to community impact is demonstrated through youth mentorship, equipment access, and hosting regional boxing events. This long-standing reputation as Las Vegas' premier boxing non-profit is built on 45+ years of consistent service and measurable outcomes in youth development.
