Our studio was established by Erik Lawson, who has been tattooing since 1988. Erik was voted the second best up-and-coming artist in the country in 1991 and has been continuously refining his talent to provide each person with the best quality services available. Erik specializes in portraits, sleeves, back pieces, and cover-ups, and he enjoys working closely with each client to create their custom tattoo.

We also have Bryce Lippincott on our team, who has been tattooing since 2003. Bryce truly enjoys creating brilliantly colored designs and offers all types of custom tattoos. From Dallas to San Diego, Pappy has refined his art and love for the old school in some of the most competitive markets and most storied shops. Now back in New Jersey, he's ready to apply his historical knowledge and skills to your tattoos.

For body piercings, we have Sharon Lloyd, who has been piercing exclusively with Altered Art since 2000. Sharon is a skilled piercer who creates a comfortable, fun atmosphere. She will provide detailed instructions on how to care for and clean your new piercing and will patiently answer all your questions. Sharon has many happy clients who return throughout the years.

We carry a full line of body jewelry including a variety of products for all types of piercings and offer expert body jewelry changes.
