VisualEyes Optometry, formerly known as CustomEyes Vision Care of Pocahontas, is a locally owned and operated, family-run optometry practice specializing in caring for all your vision needs. Our goal is to provide you with the best vision, advice, and fit today and in the years to come.

Our team of professionals handles everything from eye exams and hard-to-fit contact lenses, to computer vision problems, specialty lenses, and medical eye care. We stay up-to-date with the latest developments in eye care, prescription lenses, and advances in contact lens technology to ensure you receive the best possible service. At VisualEyes Optometry, we take the time to get to know you, your vision requirements, and your lifestyle needs, building lasting relationships with our patients.

In 2007, Dr. Amy Tolbert joined CustomEyes Vision Care in Pocahontas. In 2020, Dr. Amy Tolbert bought the Pocahontas location and relaunched it as VisualEyes Optometry, with the same great team of professionals dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services.

Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, with extended hours every other Monday until 6:00 pm. We are closed for lunch daily from 12:30 pm to 1:30 pm. We will be closed on November 24-25, December 15, 26, and 30. We encourage you to use your insurance benefits before the end of the year.

Eye Injuries: Dr. Tolbert and her highly trained staff are here to help with any eye emergencies and offer same-day urgent appointments.

Sports Eyewear Fitting: We understand that each sport has different visual demands. Our team can recommend the proper eyeglasses or contact lenses to maximize vision and safety for your specific sport or activity.

Eye & Vision Exams: Dr. Tolbert and her team are committed to making sure you see your best! We recommend yearly eye exams for everyone ages 6 months to 100+ years old.

Low Vision Treatment: Anyone can suffer from low vision, but people over the age of 65 are the most commonly affected. We offer services to help patients with low vision.

Our Frames: Selecting your eyeglasses frames and lenses is a personal choice. VisualEyes Optometry offers a wide variety of options that can be tailored to suit your medical needs and fashion preferences. Our knowledgeable staff can help you find the best fit for your specific needs and explain how the different lenses can impact your vision.

Contact Lenses: We offer a variety of contact lens options, including hard-to-fit contact lenses, to ensure a comfortable and precise fit for our patients. Our team can help you find the best contact lenses for your needs.
