Meet the Team

Lakeland Pump & Well Co. is owned by Patrick Tomenko, the second-generation well driller and owner of the family business. With 35 years of hands-on experience in the well drilling industry, Patrick has built a reputation for quality, personable, and honest service. His son, Jason, has worked in the business for over 15 years, carrying on the family legacy of excellence.

Our History

Lakeland Pump & Well Co. was started in 1960 by Fred Tomenko, a former World War II Air Force mechanic who turned to well drilling to support his growing family. Fred ran the business 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to meet his customers' water needs. As the business grew, he wanted a special drill rig that would operate more efficiently. Unable to find one, he built it himself, and it remains in use today.

Patrick, one of Fred's sons, learned the well drilling business at a young age and took over the business when his father retired. Today, Patrick is proud to have his son, Jason, as the third generation involved in the business. We are proud of our history and look forward to serving the Northern Indiana and Berrien County areas for many years to come.
