Our Story

Supreme Floor Company carries on a longstanding tradition of quality flooring right here in Hillsboro. The business, originally owned by the Goertz family, changed hands when the Goertzes retired. Les and Neoma Fleming bought the business and changed the name to Hillsboro Carpet Center. They successfully operated the business for the next 45 years. As Les neared retirement, he began to look for a buyer for the business. He sold the business to Stuart and Lea Isaac. They adopted the name Supreme Floor Company. On April 1, 2006, Stuart and Lea celebrated the grand opening of their new store. Les and Neoma generously offered to mentor Stuart and Lea in their new venture.

Stuart and Lea spent years intensively learning about different types of flooring and about pricing, merchandising, and installing methods. They went along on installs to learn how they were done. Until he retired in April 2013, Les continued working with Stuart and Lea in various capacities. When Stuart and Lea took over the business, the store was located a block south from where it is today. The Isaacs quickly outgrew that location, and moved the store up the street to its current location between Little Pleasures and Green Monkey Graphics.

With three times the space of the old location, we are now able to offer you a wider variety of flooring, countertop, and wall tile products for both residential and commercial settings. We offer something for every budget, for example whether it's granite or quartz countertops, or beautiful laminate countertops. And if we don't have it, we can order it in for you. With solid brands like Mohawk, Aladdin, Shaw, Armstrong, Congoleum, American Olean, Tarkett, Formica, and Wilsonart, you will be pleased with our selection.
