Custom Machined Parts
We produce custom machined components using manual and CNC lathes/mills. Our capabilities include turning, milling, boring, and grinding to tolerances of tenths of a thousandth. The service handles metals like steel, aluminum, and stainless steel, as well as plastics. Specialized equipment includes a Poreba lathe for large screw and cylinder rod manufacturing.
Metal Fabrication
Our full-service fabrication shop creates structural metal, conveyors, and architectural elements. We use plasma cutting, waterjet tables, and certified welding (MIG, TIG, stick) for projects ranging from equipment frames to safety railings. Technicians can reverse-engineer existing components or build from technical drawings.
Industrial Maintenance
Barrett provides millwright services, rigging, and equipment installation through six dedicated service trucks. Our MSHA-certified welders perform structural steel work, conveyor system repairs, and general plant maintenance at client locations across Virginia. This includes demolition and reinstallation of industrial machinery.
CNC Machining
With five CNC machines and advanced capabilities like wire EDM, we handle complex machining tasks. Our horizontal and vertical machining centers work with metal and plastic components.
