Dixon Woodworking, Inc. (DWI) is a renowned architectural millwork company located in North San Diego County, Fallbrook, California. For over four decades, DWI has been providing custom and pre-manufactured doors, windows, mouldings, and hardware to the finish building industry. Founded on a legacy of custom woodworking, the company has evolved to include a materials supply business and has been a leader in the finish carpentry installation side of the industry since the 1970s.

With a rich history of delivering "turn-key" millwork and finish carpentry packages to some of the finest homes throughout Southern California, DWI has had the privilege of working with high-profile clients such as Bill Gates of Microsoft, Nancy Callaway of Callaway Wines, Mike Scioscia, Manager of the Anaheim Angels, Rick Aguilera, a Cy Young winner, and Tony Gwynn, a Hall of Famer. Additionally, DWI has provided services to various commercial businesses, including the US Post Office, US Marine Corp, US Navy, Scripps Hospital, Fallbrook Union H.S. District, and the Elementary School District.

One of the key factors contributing to DWI's success is the remarkable employee loyalty. Many employees have dedicated over 20 years to the company, with some having over 30 years of service. This dedication has led to the spawning of at least a dozen companies from DWI's operation, a testament to the skills and knowledge developed within the company.

The Owner: Rocky Dixon

Raised on the border of Newport Beach and Costa Mesa, Owner Rocky Dixon was inspired by his creative and crafty next-door neighbors at a young age. The Walter and Virginia Johnson Family's projects, including furniture-making, canoe building, and restoring Model-T trucks, left a lasting impression on Rocky. These early influences guided him into the yacht and boat-building industry prevalent in the Newport Harbor area. Later, he was recruited by High School Classmate Marshall "Duffy" Duffield, and together they launched the first electric boat in the harbor, which eventually grew into the "Bay Cruser" industry. Rocky's entrepreneurial spirit and passion for craftsmanship have been the driving force behind DWI's success.
