Our History

Believe it or not, Silver Creek Plunge actually began as a silver mine in the late 1890s. Over the years, the property changed hands, and in 1957, it was transformed into the family-friendly campground we know and love today. Our rich history is woven into the fabric of our campground, from the original mine shaft entrance in our pool to the rustic charm of our A-frames and cabins.

Our geothermal pool is the crown jewel of our campground, holding 186,000 gallons of naturally heated water that's perfect for a relaxing soak. Our Accommodations

Our A-frames are a step back in time, built in the late 1950s by our original owners. Each one sleeps four and comes equipped with gas oven and stove, cold running water, and its own outdoor fire-pit, picnic table, and access to a common outhouse. Our family cabins are perfect for larger groups, with comfortable bedding and amenities to make your stay comfortable. And for the more adventurous, our tent sites are available on a first-come, first-served basis.
