Welcome to the Washburn Cultural Center (WCC), a vibrant hub of artistic expression and cultural enrichment located in the heart of Washburn, Wisconsin. Our mission is to cultivate and enrich the cultural life of our community and surrounding areas through a diverse range of programs, exhibits, and activities designed for all ages and skill levels.

Our Art Galleries

The WCC is home to several art galleries showcasing a wide variety of local, regional, and national artists. Our galleries are open Wednesday through Saturday from 12pm to 5pm and Sunday from 12pm to 4pm. We invite you to explore our current and upcoming exhibitions, including the annual Washburn School District Student Show, Variations: Fiber Art 2024, and more.

Museum & Historical Research

The Washburn Area Museum (WAM) is also housed within the WCC building, offering a wealth of historical information and research opportunities for the community. Our dedicated staff and volunteers are available to assist with your research requests and provide insight into the rich history of our area.

Events Schedule & Calendar

Our events schedule is always bustling with exciting activities for the whole family. From life drawing sessions and watercolor workshops to community meetups and festivals like the Plein Air of Washburn Festival (PAW Fest), there's something for everyone at the WCC. Workshops & Groups

At the WCC, we believe in the power of creativity and collaboration. That's why we offer a variety of workshops and groups for artists of all levels, including the Monday Night Life Drawing Group, Northern Crafters Meetup, and Watercolor Workshop with Wei Lan Lorber. These sessions provide a supportive environment where participants can learn from one another, share their experiences, and grow as artists.

Facility Rental & Washburn Legacy Consortium
