Our History

Key Wholesale was founded in 1965 by Marv Willemsen and Herb Saunders. The business started in a rented warehouse and later moved to its present location at 1136 South Carolina Avenue in Mason City in 1974. Over the years, the business expanded to include four buildings on both sides of the street. Marv and Bonnie took over sole ownership in 1984, with Marv operating the business until 1994 when the current owners, including Bob Willemsen and Rick Bitterman, took over. This year, we are celebrating our 55th year in business.
