Services
Emergency Care
We provide emergency veterinary services during regular business hours for pets in need of immediate attention. Our trained staff performs triage assessments to determine stability and required interventions. Services include CPR administration, IV catheter placement, oxygen therapy, and initial stabilization. For after-hours emergencies, we refer clients to Waco Animal Emergency Clinic or Animal Emergency Center of Temple/Belton. Our facility maintains emergency equipment and medications to handle critical cases until transfer arrangements can be made when necessary.
Pet Boarding
Our climate-controlled boarding facilities offer safe, comfortable accommodations for small animals. Features include individual runs, outdoor exercise yards, and a dedicated cats-only room with bird-viewing windows. We require current vaccinations for boarding pets and provide special care for medical needs. Reservations are required with specific drop-off/pickup times. Our staff monitors boarded pets regularly and will contact owners for any medical concerns. We offer additional services like video calls and special treats for boarded pets.
Laser Therapy
We offer MLS laser therapy for pain management and healing in pets. This non-invasive treatment helps with arthritis, post-surgical recovery, and wound healing. The therapy stimulates cell regeneration and reduces inflammation without requiring anesthesia. Sessions typically last 10-30 minutes depending on the treatment area. We recommend a minimum of three sessions for optimal results. Laser therapy is not used for pets with cancer due to potential blood flow stimulation to tumors.
Diagnostic Imaging
Our clinic provides digital radiology and ultrasound services for internal diagnostics. Digital X-rays offer lower radiation exposure and immediate viewing capabilities. Ultrasound technology helps diagnose bladder stones, organ abnormalities, and pregnancy. We also perform dental X-rays to assess oral health below the gum line. These diagnostic tools help create accurate treatment plans for pets with internal medical conditions.
Dental Care
We offer comprehensive dental services including cleanings, extractions, and oral surgery. Digital dental X-rays help identify hidden periodontal disease. Our surgical laser reduces pain and bleeding during procedures. We treat dental issues like tooth decay, gum disease, and oral infections. Preventative care includes professional cleanings and home care recommendations. Dental procedures require general anesthesia for complete assessment and treatment.
