Leap Of Faith Dance

At Leap of Faith Dance Company, we are more than just a dance studio. We are a family ministry dedicated to providing a fun, supportive environment for our students to learn and grow. Our mission is to use the talents we have been blessed with to help children have fun, learn to dance, and understand valuable life lessons through scripture and Christian music. We are passionate about teaching our students not just the techniques of dance, but also valuable life skills such as discipline, hard work, and self-confidence.

Our History and Ministry

Leap of Faith Dance Company was established by Dave and Kelley Haney in 2003. Their vision was to create a family ministry that would allow them to use their talents to make a difference in the lives of others. Since our inception, we have been blessed to grow and reach students across Columbus and the surrounding areas. We are committed to donating 10% of our proceeds to various ministries, including Samaritan's Purse, Compassion International, and our Leap of Faith Scholarship Fund.

Our Facility

In 2017, we moved to a new facility that offers four spacious studios, a comfortable lobby with Wi-Fi and TV viewing systems, a store for all your dance wear needs, and a costume department. Each studio is equipped with state-of-the-art dance floors, including custom-built sprung floors designed to provide the correct amount of energy absorption and flexibility for the safety of our dancers.

Our Dance Classes

We offer a variety of dance classes for students of all ages and skill levels, from pre-school to master level. Our classes are designed to be fun, engaging, and challenging, and are taught by experienced instructors who are passionate about dance and dedicated to helping our students grow and succeed. We offer classes in a range of styles, including contemporary, ballet, pointe, tap, jazz, hip hop, breaking, acro, creative movement, and modern.

At Leap of Faith Dance Company, we believe that dance is not just about the physical movements, but also about the expression of emotion and the connection with the music. We strive to create a positive, supportive environment where our students can feel comfortable expressing themselves through dance. Our goal is to help our students develop not only their technical dance skills, but also their self-confidence, discipline, and passion for dance.
