Family Pharmacy

Family Pharmacy is a local business that has been serving the community for over 40 years. With seven locations in the Golden Triangle, we are the leading provider of pharmacy services in the area. Our goal is to provide a high level of customer service that all of our customers deserve. We strive to treat each and every customer as if they were our own family.

Our team is led by David Haney, the owner of Family Pharmacy. David was born and raised in Vidor, Texas, and has been in the pharmacy business for over 50 years. He began his career working for Dub Morris at Vidor Pharmacy, which sparked his interest in pharmacy. David then went on to Lamar University to get his prerequisites for pharmacy and graduated from the University of Houston Pharmacy School in 1973. After graduation, he worked for Eckerd's Pharmacy in Vidor before meeting his future business partner, Leonard Mosca.

Leonard Mosca graduated from the University of Houston pharmacy school in 1968 and worked at Walgreens pharmacy for a short period of time. He then went to work at Gibson's Pharmacy for six years before partnering with David to open Family Pharmacy in January of 1979. Leonard recently sold his share of the business to David's son Brian, but he still works at Vidor Family Pharmacy.

Our pharmacists, such as Clancie Grant at Vidor Family Pharmacy, have years of experience and are highly trained to provide medication therapy management, sterile compounding, and immunization administration.
