Paisley Cakes Soda Bar & Sweets is a premier custom cake and dessert company based in Blackfoot, Idaho. Our passionate team, led by creative genius and owner Lanae Workman, is dedicated to providing our customers with unique, tailored desserts that make their special events truly unforgettable. With a focus on both quality and creativity, we specialize in creating custom desserts that cater to each client's unique taste and event style.

Our Story

Lanae Workman, the owner and creative genius behind Paisley Cakes, has had a passion for baking and desserts since she was a child. This passion turned into a hobby, and eventually, a dream to run a business. After graduating from college with a Bachelor's degree in business management, an emphasis in marketing, and a minor in culinary arts, Lanae was fully prepared to turn her dream into a reality. In August 2013, she, along with her husband Michael, opened the doors to their cake shop in Blackfoot, Idaho.

About Lanae Workman

With over 23 years of experience in the baking industry, Lanae is confident in her ability to create the perfect cake for any occasion. She has a talent for working with both fondant and buttercream, ensuring that no cake design is too challenging for her. Lanae has participated in the Eastern Idaho Sugar Art Cake Show at the Eastern Idaho State Fair for 13 years, winning numerous awards including Best of Show and Grand Champion in both fondant and buttercream cakes. She also had the opportunity to compete in a cake competition as part of RootsTech in Salt Lake City, Utah, finishing in the top 5 in the Graduation Category and meeting Cake Celebrity Buddy Valastro, star of the hit TV show Cake Boss.

Our Services

At Paisley Cakes Soda Bar & Sweets, we offer a variety of services designed to make your special event truly memorable. Our team specializes in creating custom desserts tailored to each unique client and their event. Whether you're looking for a wedding cake, a special occasion cake, sculpted and sugar art cupcakes, or other treats, we have you covered. We also offer dessert catering, a full soda bar, and deli sandwiches at our bakery location.

The Sweet Shop

Everyday, our store is filled with delicious treats for you to purchase. While cakes are made by special order and require at least a week's notice, we always have cupcakes, brownies, cookies, and more available for you to enjoy. Our Soda Bar features flavored syrups, fruit purees, and creams added to your favorite soda. You can choose from one of our signature flavors or create your own unique combination.

Our Location

We are located at 747 S. Broadway St. Blackfoot, ID 83221. Our cute little shop is filled with lots of treats available, plus custom options by special order. Special orders require at least one week's notice.

Signature Syrups

We make all our syrups in-house and have started bottling them for you! Our flavored syrups can be used for many different things, including sodas, hot chocolate, cappuccino, lemonades, iced tea, Italian sodas, and so much more. We offer 33 flavors available for you to enjoy.

Online Store

We understand that not everyone can visit our physical location, which is why we've made our great treats available for purchase online. You can order online, and we will ship our delicious desserts right to your doorstep.
