At Brau Brothers Brewing Co., we're proud to be a craft brewery dedicated to bringing the finest, locally-sourced ingredients to the craft beer enthusiasts of the upper Midwest. Since our humble beginnings in 1999, we've been committed to brewing in small batches, just like we did twenty-five years ago, to ensure the highest quality and unique flavors in every pint.

Our Story

Our journey began in Lucan, Minnesota, where we started brewing beer with a two-bbl system, struggling to keep up with production despite the fact that all of our beer was consumed on premise. As we grew with the craft beer industry, we began filling growlers, graduated to more complex and flavorful ales and lagers, and eventually added seasonal beers to our lineup. In 2006, we moved our production to the red shed on the edge of Lucan, added a bottling line to our 15-bbl system, and started distributing to the nearby area. In 2013, we made another move to Marshall, Minnesota, where we added a taproom to the brewery, expanding our distribution area and proudly distributing Brau Bros beer to the upper Midwest.

Our Values

We take pride in brewing our beers with locally grown hops and barley, believing that when breweries take responsibility for their beer, from grain to glass, unique and quality beers are produced that are distinct to our region. We collaborate with small producers, from small town distilleries to nano coffee roasters, to find friends in rural places and create truly craft brewed ales and lagers.

Our Taproom

Our taproom is open seven days a week, where you can find our full lineup of year-round, seasonal, and specialty beers. From our core beers, like Old 56 and Strawberry Wheat, to our seasonal releases, like Ringneck and Hopsession, we have something for every beer enthusiast. Our taproom also features the Brau Cave, with two full-size golf simulators, pool tables, darts, and plenty of TVs to catch your favorite game.

From our light and refreshing White Cap to our bold and complex Illbebock, we have a beer for every palate.
