His friends soon noticed his cool clothes and were amazed at the low prices he paid for them. They asked him to buy things for them, and before he knew it, he was running a store out of his living room.
Realizing that he loved what he was doing, Victor wanted to bring his connections and talent for finding great deals to the public. In 1991, he quit his construction job and opened a 'hole in the wall' shop on Fountain and Virgil. Soon, the Half Off Clothing Store became an instant hit in Los Feliz.
