Our Story

The history of Brim Tractor begins with the story of Bill Brim, our founder's father. Growing up on a dairy farm in Longview, Washington, Bill was only 22 when he became part-owner of his first tractor dealership. He went on to spend 40 years in the tractor business, from 1947 to 1987. Bill and his wife, Margaret, founded Brim Tractor Company in Lynden in 1966. Throughout the years, they not only weathered the constantly changing industry but also played a significant role in shaping it.
